Our wines are available from select outlets or direct from the vineyard.  The vineyard is open for wine sales throughout the year, please contact us for details of opening times and availability of wines as we sometimes sell out of some lines.

Eglantine White Table Wine (Off Dry)

Madeline Angevine grapes are used to make an off dry white wine, often compared with those produced in the Loire Valley, France.
 
11% alcohol by volume
Contains sulphites

North Star (Sweet)

Some of the ripest Madeleine Angevine grapes are used to produce "North Star" - Eglantine's answer to Icewine. 
 
The Wine Standards Branch of the UK Food Agency, a government body, have granted North Star 2006 Quality Wine Status.
 
Eglantine North Star 2006 has scooped a Gold Medal and 2 trophies in the competition.

  • Wine Guild Trophy for the most outstanding large production wine of any vintage other than the previous year's vintage
  • Tom Day Trophy for the most outstanding single varietal wine
 
For the third time North Star has been featured in the gazetteer 1000 Vin de Monde (1000 Wines of the World) Nouvelle selection 2011.

Quality Sparkling Wine

Our “Quality Sparkling Wine” made by the traditional method of secondary fermentation in bottle, is a blend of the most suitable varieties from several vintages.  This won the Bronze Medal 2002 in the Mercian Vineyards Association Competition

Aurora Borealis (Dry Rose)

A rose wine, "Aurora Borealis" is a blend of Seyval Blanc, a white grape and Cascade, a red.

"Eglantine Red" is a blend, being made from Leon Millot, Cascade, Regent and other red grapes in the vine collection.

Mead is made from honey produced by the bees in the vineyard apiary.

Cherry Wine (Sweet)

A sweet Cherry Wine, is made according to our own recipe. This was awarded a Silver Medal at the 1996 International Wine and Spirits Competition.  It makes a warming tipple, which is especially popular at Christmas.
